Notice of Changes

It’s been a pleasure serving our clients in the Bow Valley, and beyond, as Blackett Law. Please be advised that we are disbanding our current partnership as of December 31st, 2024, and are making the following changes effective January 1, 2025:

Sarah Phillips will be practicing in association with Highline Law Office, remaining at Blackett Law’s current office location at Mistaya Place in Canmore together with Jennifer Prince and Stacey Wasmuth. Highline Law Office was founded in Banff in 2003 as Eric Harvie Law Office, and is currently under the ownership and management of Sarah Jones. The association of our independent practices will afford both offices the opportunity for mutual support and assistance, ensuring that our clients continue to receive the high quality, timely legal services you are accustomed to.

Don Blackett, KC and Karen Wiwchar will be joining the team at Field Law as Counsel, and will be in Field’s offices at the Shops of Canmore. Field Law is a full-service Alberta regional firm established in 1915, and has offices in Canmore, Calgary, Edmonton and Yellowknife. Don and Karen will continue to offer the level and quality of legal service that has been provided by all the lawyers of Blackett Law in the Bow Valley for the past eleven years, and now with the additional bench strength and excellent reputation that Field Law offers.
